‘이 문장은 거짓이다’는 잘 알려진 거짓말쟁이의 역설(Liar Paradox)이다. 문장을 사실이라고 전제하면 문장 내용은 거짓이 되고, 문장을 거짓이라고 전제하면 문장 내용이 사실이 되는 역설이 무한히 되풀이된다. 등 뒤에서 손가락을 꼬는 거짓말의 제스처를 메인 그래픽으로 선정했고, 끝없이 이어지는 프랙탈 구조의 루프 모션으로 전시의 테마를 시각화했다.
Everything in this Exhibition is a Lie.
The statement "This sentence is false" is a well-known paradox known as the Liar Paradox. Assuming the statement to be true makes the content false, and assuming it to be false makes the content true, leading to an infinite loop of paradox. Choosing the gesture of fingers crossed behind the back, a symbol of lying, as the main graphic, the theme of the exhibition was visualized with an endlessly repeating fractal structure loop motion.
